Demonstrating technological prowess and quality competitiveness in autonomous driving and smart city infrastructure construction.
Etiforce, a company specializing in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication technology, has secured a full line of V2X communication equipment necessary for major domestic C-ITS projects, autonomous driving, and smart city infrastructure construction, proving its technological prowess and quality competitiveness.
Etiphos announced on the 15th that it has received C-ITS (Creative Intelligent Transport Systems) certification from the Korea Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS Korea) for all of its product lines.
With this certification, Etiphos now has a full line of V2X communication equipment ready for immediate supply to major domestic C-ITS projects, autonomous driving, and smart city infrastructure construction projects.
Etifos has completed national certifications across its product portfolio by additionally obtaining certification for its Onboard Unit (OBU), following its already certified lightweight OBUs, the Aftermarket V2X Device (AVD) and Roadside Unit (RSU).
This is a result that meets all the standards of the C-ITS certification system that verifies the interoperability and performance of V2X communication equipment, and has become an opportunity to prove Etiphos' technological prowess and quality competitiveness.
Park Yong-tae, CTO (Executive Director) of Etiforce, said, “Obtaining C-ITS certification for all product lines is an important milestone that demonstrates Etiforce’s technological perfection and market responsiveness,” adding, “We will continue to expand globally in the future.” “We will accelerate our expansion into overseas markets by quickly securing certifications from various countries, including OmniAir certification,” he said.
Based on this certification, Etiphos plans to strengthen collaboration with domestic system integration companies (SIs) and expand its contracts for C-ITS and autonomous driving infrastructure construction projects.
The strategy is to strengthen the company's position as a V2X solution provider, particularly in global markets such as the US, the Middle East, and Asia, and to establish a foundation for technology exports by securing international certification.
