Calterah, a company specializing in automotive millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar and ultra-wideband (UWB) chips, has unveiled its next-generation radar SoC and UWB SoC in Korea for the first time and is expanding cooperation with the automotive and parts industries.

Calterra announced on the 2nd that it participated in Automotive Innovation Day 2026 (AID 2026) held in Suwon on the 1st and unveiled its 5T4R mmWave radar SoC 'Kunlun-Pro', launched in June, for the first time in Korea.

The Kunlun-Pro, unveiled for the first time at this event, is reported to have enhanced long-range target tracking performance by featuring RSP 2.0 with 10 times the performance of the existing model, an SNR improvement of more than 2.5dB, and a virtual channel increased by 25%.

The 6T6R 77/79GHz SoC 'Kunlun-USRR', released for door, side, and tailgate radars, was also exhibited.

It is a configuration that integrates an FMCW waveform with a maximum bandwidth of 5 GHz, Calterra's proprietary radar signal processor (RSP), and a 225 MHz ARC® dual-core processor.

The UWB SoC 'Dubhe' was introduced as a product compliant with the IEEE 802.15.4ab standard.

The CAL1106AQ with a 2T4R structure enables distance measurement of up to 400m using MMS UWB technology, features an ultra-low power design based on a 22nm CMOS process, and supports global standards such as FiRa 4.0 and CCC Digital Key 3.0.

The company stated that it can be used for smart access functions such as digital key, Keyfob, kick sensing, and child detection (CPD).
