Huawei Korea, a global ICT company, has launched a social contribution program to provide Korean college students with access to global ICT trends and innovative educational opportunities, and is actively fostering future talent with global competitiveness.
On the 28th, Huawei signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dongguk University, Ewha Womans University, and Hanyang University in the conference room of the Huawei Korea branch in Seosomun-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, and will jointly promote a global education program to cultivate next-generation ICT leaders.
Through this MOU, Huawei will select five outstanding students recommended by each university and fully support the program participation costs.
Selected students will undergo a rigorous screening process by a university judging panel and will intensively study next-generation network technologies, ICT innovation, global collaboration capabilities, and cultural, leadership, and technology convergence education.
The program is part of Huawei's flagship social contribution project, "Seeds for the Future," and since its launch in 2008, more than 19,000 people from over 140 countries around the world have participated.
Beyond simple technical training, our goal is to cultivate digital leadership capable of competing on the international stage and create a sustainable ICT ecosystem.
Dongguk University College of Engineering Dean Park Hyun-chang said, “Through this agreement, we will accelerate the training of practical talents with global ICT capabilities.He said, “We will do our best to cultivate creative technical talents who will lead the AI era.”

Hanyang University College of Engineering Dean Hwang Hee-jun emphasized, “This is a valuable opportunity for students to cultivate global ICT expertise and leadership, thereby developing into ‘the growth engine of the Republic of Korea.’”
