It has been reported that the Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle, which has recently become popular in China, is equipped with Infineon SiC power modules.

Infineon Technologies AG announced on the 6th that it will supply silicon carbide (SiC) power modules HybridPACK™ Drive G2 CoolSiC™ and bare die products to Xiaomi EV until 2027 for the recently announced Xiaomi SU7.

Infineon's CoolSiC-based power modules allow higher operating temperatures while delivering best-in-class performance, driving dynamics and lifetime.

This enables Infineon's CoolSiC-based traction inverters to further increase the driving range of electric vehicles.

HybridPACK Drive is a family of power modules for electric vehicles from Infineon, with approximately 8.5 million units sold since 2017.

Infineon provides two HybridPACK Drive G2 CoolSiC 1200 V modules for the Xiaomi SU7 Max.

In addition, Infineon is supplying various products such as EiceDRIVER to Xiaomi EV.
