Semiconductor 'Innovation Day' held on July 8th
Schneider Electric Korea (CEO Jiwoong Kwon), a global leader in energy management and automation, is strengthening the energy efficiency, sustainability, and resilience of semiconductor fabs with energy management and automation technology.
Schneider will hold 'Innovation Day: EcoStruxure for Semiconductor 2025' for semiconductor industry customers and equipment manufacturers at the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Ramada Plaza Suwon Hotel on the 8th.
This event will present energy transition, digital optimization, and ESG response strategies for semiconductor fabs, and provide a chance to experience the latest energy management and automation solutions.
As the domestic semiconductor industry experiences a surge in fab power usage due to high-density microprocesses and increased demand for AI and HPC, securing stability and efficiency in power operation has emerged as an essential task.
Accordingly, Schneider Electric will help strengthen the competitiveness of semiconductor manufacturing lines by providing technology sessions and exhibition zones on three key topics: real-time energy monitoring, intelligent predictive maintenance, and construction of high-efficiency power infrastructure.
Starting with the opening ceremony at 10:00 AM on the day of the event, the following topics were covered: △Introduction of energy monitoring solutions △Decarbonization transition strategy △Real-time machine learning-based motor analysis △High-efficiency motor control technology △Digital remote monitoring and fire prevention △HMI·AI A total of 7 sessions will be held, including base control, variable speed power drive system utilization, and predictive maintenance.

The exhibition hall 'Innovation Hub' is composed of three themes: △Sustainability Zone, △Efficiency Zone, and △Resiliency Zone.
The Sustainability Zone showcases green solutions across the supply chain, including carbon emissions reduction consulting, renewable energy linkage programs, and PPA (power purchase agreement) support.
The Energy Efficiency Zone demonstrates technologies that increase energy usage visibility and efficiency in production processes through data-driven monitoring, load management, and machine learning smart operations.
The Fair Continuity Zone minimizes downtime and supports stable fab operation with AI predictive maintenance systems, heat and fire detection solutions, and network optimization technologies.
