NI Nigel™ AI Advisor and NI SystemLink™ Now Available in Korea

Nubicom, Korea's largest electronic measuring instrument distributor and official distributor of National Instruments (NI), is maximizing the test development productivity of domestic engineers with new software that incorporates AI capabilities.

Nubicom announced that it will begin supplying domestically the 'NI Nigel™ AI Advisor' and its lightweight version 'NI SystemLink™ base', recently released by Emerson.

This announcement will enable engineers to bring AI capabilities to NI software, including LabVIEW™ and TestStand™, and remotely manage distributed test equipment through SystemLink.

Emerson, a global leader in industrial automation technology, unveiled two new technologies applicable across its NI portfolio in the United States on July 22.

Nubicom provides engineers with NI Nigel™ AI Advisor and NI SystemLink™ base along with its own technical support.

NI Nigel™ AI Advisor is an AI assistant that analyzes LabVIEW and TestStand code in real time based on a large-scale language model (LLM) and suggests optimization solutions.

Users can query hundreds of function usages and receive code improvement recommendations using only natural language commands., all operations are processed in a secure cloud environment, ensuring data security.

“NI Nigel™ AI Advisor reduces test complexity, allowing engineers to focus on true innovation,” said Ritu Favre, business leader for Emerson’s instrumentation business. “This will revolutionize the LabVIEW and TestStand user experience.”

Nigel, first unveiled at NI Connect 2025, will be further integrated into various NI software, including NI FlexLogger™ and Structural Test, and will be offered as a free license to help improve global engineer productivity.

NI SystemLink™ base version is a platform that allows you to centrally configure, monitor, and manage your entire test facility.

Enhance collaboration between geographically dispersed labs and manufacturing sites by remotely controlling all NI equipment, including PXI, CompactRIO™, and DAQ (data acquisition devices).

“SystemLink enables engineering teams of all sizes, from small labs to large enterprises, to quickly and reliably collect, analyze, and share test data,” said Jim Schwartz, director of Emerson Test and Measurement Software.

The new version significantly reduces initial setup time with native integration with LabVIEW, TestStand, and FlexLogger, and accelerates decision-making with dashboard and device calibration reporting features.

It is also designed to be cost-effective even in small engineering environments.

“NI Nigel™ AI” said CEO Dong-Man Shin of Nubicom. “Advisor and NI SystemLink™ are key tools that revolutionize the way engineers work and enhance collaboration within organizations,” he said. “We hope that domestic engineers will maximize their test development productivity with these solutions.”
