Three Principles Presented for Basic Mobile Infrastructure for AI Popularization: Accessibility, Universality, and Trust
“We will continue our growth momentum by strengthening AI across the entire lineup, from flagships to the A Series”

Samsung Electronics is moving to strengthen its leadership in the mobile artificial intelligence (AI) market with its next-generation flagship smartphone, the 'Galaxy S26 series'. The strategy is to solidify mobile AI leadership not only through sales performance that surpasses the previous model but also through balanced growth across the entire smartphone product line.

Samsung Electronics CEO Roh Tae-moon met with Korean reporters immediately after the 'Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026' event held in San Francisco, USA on the 26th and stated, "The Galaxy S26 is a product that sets a new standard in both performance and AI experience."

President Noh emphasized, “While the Galaxy S25 series maintained a stable sales trend based on positive market evaluations, the S26 aims to surpass this performance,” adding, “We will continue our growth momentum by strengthening AI competitiveness across the entire lineup, from the flagship to the A series.”

The key keyword for the Galaxy S26 is 'Mobile Agentic AI'.

It is an AI concept that understands user intent and autonomously connects and performs various tasks, characterized by providing an active user experience that goes beyond simple functional assistance.

CEO Noh explained, “Agentic AI is a technology that naturally completes results appropriate to the situation without requiring users to give detailed instructions.”

Samsung Electronics defines AI not as a technology for specific users, but as a fundamental infrastructure for mobile.

To this end, three principles were presented: accessibility, universality, and trust.

President Noh said, “To popularize AI, we are already providing AI features on hundreds of millions of Galaxy devices, and we plan to further expand the scope this year.”

He also stated, “We will equip all new mobile products, including not only smartphones but also tablets, PCs, and wearables, with AI as a standard feature so that anyone can easily utilize them.”He added.

In terms of universality, we are also preparing a next-generation AI OS in collaboration with Google that integrates AI functions at the operating system level.

Trust was also cited as an important factor.

President Noh stated, “Security and privacy must be prerequisites for AI to become an everyday infrastructure,” adding, “We will continuously strengthen an environment where users can directly control their data and feel secure.”

The Galaxy S26 has further enhanced its hardware competitiveness through the best performance ever, an improved camera experience, and new mobile privacy technology.

Based on this, Samsung Electronics plans to fully expand AI-centric mobile experiences.

President Noh said, “We will continue to develop AI through global user research so that it can be used more easily and naturally,” adding that “the Galaxy S26 is the starting point of that change.”
