The affordable Lenovo ThinkSystem DM5100F provides low-latency all-NVMe storage to enhance customers' data analysis and AI deployment capabilities, and accelerate applications' access to data.
Lenovo DM Series storage systems include new 3-object support to create a next-generation unified data management platform. This platform enables customers to manage and analyze all data types, including block, file, and object, within a single storage platform, accelerating data analytics processing and reducing infrastructure costs.
Enhanced features protect extended data with transparent failover and management of object storage. With Lenovo DM Series storage, customers can add cold data tiering from HDDs to the cloud or even replicate data to the cloud. This enables an economical multi-cloud strategy for storage, reducing overall data management costs.
To reduce data management costs, Lenovo offers a software solution called Lenovo ThinkSystem Intelligent Monitoring 2.0, an enhanced cloud-based management platform that uses AI to simplify and automate the management and optimization of Lenovo ThinkSystem storage environments. Users can monitor and manage storage capacity and performance across multiple locations, predict issues before they occur, and receive prescriptive guidance from a single cloud-based interface.
To accelerate the performance of customer applications, Lenovo also announced the Lenovo DB720S Fibre Channel Switch. The switch provides 32Gbps and 64Gbps storage networking, delivering faster speeds and 50 percent lower latency than the previous generation. The DB720S provides an autonomous SAN infrastructure with self-learning, self-optimizing and self-healing capabilities to reduce downtime and simplify storage network management.
Lenovo recently published a reference architecture for AI training systems in collaboration with NetApp and NVIDIA. This architecture combines ThinkSystem SR670 servers with NVIDIA GPUs and ThinkSystem DM5000F all-flash storage to optimize AI platforms without guesswork or guesswork.
Lenovo's data management portfolio, including the DM Series storage solutions, is offered through Lenovo TruScale Infrastructure Services.
Meanwhile, Lenovo and SAP have announced 'SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, Customer Edition', an OPEX private cloud service provided through Lenovo TrueScale.
