Carbon accounting platform specialist Kuntec (CEO Bang Hyuk-jun) and eco-friendly energy storage device 'supercapacitor' and hydrogen fuel cell material and component specialist Vinatech (CEO Sung Do-kyung) have joined hands to jointly respond to global carbon regulations.

Kuntec announced on the 28th that it signed an MOU with Vinatech and that Vinatech introduced Kuntec's carbon emission calculation solution 'PlanESG' to establish a product carbon footprint (PCF) calculation system.

In the future, the two companies plan to proactively respond to global carbon regulations by advancing the system through continuous technological cooperation.

Vinatech recently received a request from a global customer to disclose product carbon emissions information across the entire supply chain of its products.

Accordingly, Vinatech introduced 'PlanESG' to establish a product carbon emissions calculation system that can be systematically and continuously managed.

Through this agreement, VinaTech will be able to quickly calculate carbon emissions based on precise data, and manage and provide carbon emissions data required in the global market in real time.

Kuntec will link the product carbon emissions management function of 'PlanESG' with Vinatech's internal manufacturing management system (MES) to collect production data required for product carbon emissions measurement in real time. Supported so that it could be done.

In addition, we applied a customized form to maximize the convenience of data entry so that carbon emission source data managed by Vinatech can be uploaded to the solution in its existing form.

PlanESG is an ESG data platform developed by Kuntec that helps small and medium-sized enterprises respond to demands for non-financial information disclosure related to environment, society, and governance (ESG).

It is also designed to measure and manage corporate carbon emissions to respond to various climate change compliance requirements, such as ESG sustainability reporting, supply chain management for Scope 3 management, and CBAM-related requirements for European and U.S. export companies.
