Selected as 'The World's Most Sustainable Company 2025'
Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital transformation in energy management and automation, has been recognized for its exemplary ESG management as a global leader.
Schneider Electric announced on the 24th that it was selected as the 'World's Most Sustainable Company for 2025' by Corporate Knights, a Canadian investment advisory and economic media group.
Schneider Electric has claimed this title for the second time since 2021, making it the only company to have topped the Global 100 Index twice.
Schneider Electric's recent achievements are a testament to its management philosophy that places sustainability at the core of its values.
In particular, it has demonstrated ESG (environmental, social, and governance) management leadership, including gender diversity within the management and board of directors, and providing energy efficiency and decarbonization solutions.
The company was highly rated for its efforts to reduce the correlation between business growth and energy consumption and carbon emissions, as well as its investment in sustainable research and development (R&D).
Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, said, “Sustainability is more than just a goal; it is the core of Schneider Electric’s business and the driving force that inspires our employees. This award is a testament to Schneider Electric’s commitment to a sustainable future.“This achievement demonstrates that Trick’s dedication has a positive impact in the long term,” he said.
“Schneider Electric is helping businesses around the world transition to sustainability with technologies that improve energy efficiency and support decarbonization,” said Toby Heaps, CEO of Corporate Knights. “Having ranked first in the Global 100 twice is a result of their extensive ESG practices.”
Schneider Electric's award this time is seen as an indicator of the success of the 'Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact (SSI)' program that started in 2021.
The program aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) presented by the United Nations, and Schneider Electric has been publishing a dedicated report on the program's progress every quarter since 2021.
This provides a key driving force for achieving ESG goals by 2025 and serves as a cornerstone for achieving global and domestic sustainability goals.
Last year, Schneider Electric was ranked first in the '2024 World's Most Sustainable Companies' list announced by Time magazine and data company Statista.
