The MotionWise scheduling solution for QNX 8 is expected to help automotive developers easily address complex workloads.

BlackBerry Limited and TTTech Auto have released MotionWise Schedule for the QNX Software Development Platform (SDP) 8.0.

This solution accelerates the transition to software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and enables secure real-time execution of applications running on QNX SDP 8.

The solution provides a high-performance runtime environment with deterministic task scheduling to optimize resource utilization and reduce embedded runtime design and configuration efforts.

SDV projects can rapidly add new software applications by automating repetitive testing and configuration processes.

“Our goal is to help customers get next-generation automotive software to market faster, and we’re excited to be working with TT Tech Auto to deliver time-triggered scheduling capabilities,” said John Wall, QNX’s chief operating officer.
