한국자동차연구원(원장 나승식)이 ‘미래 자율주행 안전’의 청사진을 마련하기 위해 ‘자율주행 안전’을 주제로 제16회 자산어보 행사를 개최했다.

The Korea Automobile Research Institute (President Seungsik Na) opened a forum for exchange to establish a blueprint for ‘future autonomous driving safety.’
On the 21st, Hanjayeon held the 16th Jasan Eobo event with the theme of ‘Autonomous Driving Safety’ at the COEX Startup Branch.
The event was attended by approximately 140 people including President Han Ja-yeon, Na Seung-sik, Vice President Lim Gwang-hoon, Director of the Automobile Division of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy Park Tae-hyeon, Director of the Future Mobility Team Choi Yun-seok, Research Fellow Kim Hak-seong of LG Electronics, Center Director Lee Yong-heon of KGM, Group Director Lee Jong-guk of Autocrypt, Executive Director Lee Jae-hak of Lanix, Director Shin Jae-gon of Autonomous A2G, and Managing Director Kim Jun-gi of KAMA, as well as officials from finished car manufacturers, small and medium-sized parts companies, and related organizations.
The Jasan Eobo event hosted by Hanjayeon is an abbreviation for ‘Uniting and Supporting the Automobile Industry’ and is a regular networking event aimed at sharing useful information and promoting collaboration among members based on regular meetings and exchanges among members of the mobility industry.
The 16th Jasan Eobo event covered the theme of 'safety', a key issue for future autonomous driving, and covered a wide range of trends and prospects for various technologies, policies, and systems, including functional safety, SOTIF, and security.
The event began with a welcoming speech by President Na Seung-sik of Hanjayeon and a congratulatory speech by Director Park Tae-hyeon of the Automobile Division of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, followed by a presentation on the current status and challenges of autonomous driving technology safety by Professor Heo Geon-su of Hanyang University, technical issues for improving autonomous driving safety by Director Lee Hyeok-gi of the Intelligent Transportation Control Technology Division of Hanjayeon, and trends in autonomous driving policies and safety systems by Director Yoon Yong-won of the Automobile Safety Research Institute.
This was followed by Q&A with speakers, and presentations by leading companies LG Electronics, KG Mobility, and CNBS.
In addition, the company took the lead in supporting various technological exchanges and discovering new partner companies by operating a research results and technology consulting booth of the 'Intelligent Traffic Control Technology Division' under the Hanja Autonomous Driving Technology Research Institute and a promotional booth for four innovative companies, including CNBIS, Suresoft Tech, Dispace Korea, and SM Solutions.
Na Seung-sik, the president of Hanjayun, said, “Autonomous driving has the potential to innovatively change the future transportation environment and daily life, and in order to realize this, various technologies, policies, and systems must be supported to ensure ‘safety’ above all else.” He added, “We will make multi-faceted efforts so that, through exchanges and cooperation among industry members, innovative and safe technologies can be developed, and effective policies and systems can be established.”
